About Life
Strategy and Relationship Coach, Barbara Epstein, M.A.
Barbara
has always been committed to guiding others in ways that enrich their
lives. Before becoming a Life Coach, she was a nationally certified school
psychologist for more than 25 years and worked as a student advocate who
actively intervened on behalf of students and their families.
During that time, as now, she has been involved in effectively assisting children,
adolescents and adults so that they would be better able to find direction in their
lives, move through challenging times, or manifest
their dreams in reality. She is very enthusiastic
about assisting others in discovering their Life Purpose so they may
live their lives 'on purpose' and experience peace, joy, satisfaction,
balance, and fulfillment. She is passionately committed to being an effective, caring
Life Strategy and Relationship Coach.
Coach
Barbara holds B.A. and M.A. degrees from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C..
She trained to become a Life Coach through an advanced program offered
by The Coaches' Training Institute (CTI) based in San Rafael, California
and is a member of the International
Coaches Federation (ICF). She is passionately committed
to continuing her personal and professional growth by living a healthy
and active lifestyle, actively reading, attending seminars, workshops, conferences,
tele-classes, and other programs. She also leads seminars and
workshops.
Although
she lives in North Bethesda, MD, Coach Barbara has worked with clients
from the east coast to the west coast and through effective telephone
sessions, she is able to coach anyone anyplace in the world who speaks
English. She has traveled extensively and is concerned about global
issues while taking an active role in her community. Barbara has been a trained Volunteer Hospice Caregiver,
taught numerous parenting programs and participated in various activities
for a non-profit organization in Washington, D.C. and Maryland that has
catered to the homeless and to individuals and families in need (she
conducted pro bono coaching of some individuals and families
referred).
On the path of
her own Life's Journey, Coach Barbara strives for continuous
personal, professional and spiritual growth; service to others;enjoyable and effective use of
leisure time for loving relationships, continuous learning, health and
fitness, and fun.
Barbara's
passion for Life Coaching and for living life in celebration of her gifts
and blessings is contagious. She deeply appreciates and enjoys lively and effective
client-coach partnerships
and celebrates each small step clients take reaching their desired
goals.
